Having problems with your third-party add-ons in Microsoft Flight Simulator? Try these tips and methods to figure out what the issue could be, and know how to proceed with a fix
There are many factors that could be the reason behind issues you are seeing in the simulator, these include (but not limited to) the following:
- Conflict with another addon in the community folder. This is the most common reason
- Conflict with a utility such as Navigraph, FSUIPC, etc
- Issue with stored cache causing conflicts
- Issue with installation of the simulator
How can I fix these issues?
Stage 1
- Remove ALL folders from the community folder. (You can save them in a folder on the desktop temporarily)
- Load up the simulator and spawn at add-on airport
This will clear the cache - Exit the simulator, and add ONLY the add-on airport to the community folder.
- Load up the simulator and spawn at add-on airport
